FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a 15-year-old Fort Walton Beach teen is facing multiple charges for a fight that left a 19-year-old with a gunshot wound.
Okaloosa County Sheriff's officials were called to investigate what they called "a domestic violence incident" at a home near Fort Walton Beach. Authorities said the two got into an argument Tuesday morning and that Anthony Nix suffered a gunshot wound during the altercation. It's unclear what prompted the argument, whether the two were related and whether any other family members were involved.
Nix was taken to the hospital. His condition was not released.
The Associated Press is not identifying the suspect because he is a minor.
Authorities said the teen suspect faces multiple felony charges but did not offer details.
