WAKULLA CO., Fla. (WTXL) -- A 19-year old is in custody, after the shooting of two people in Crawfordville.

Chantz Heath Carraway is being held at the Wakulla County Jail. Charges are expected to be filed later Thursday.

The Wakulla County's Sheriff's Office believe Carraway is the culprit in a drug-related incident that put two people in the hospital.

On Wednesday, deputies were called to Carraway Court, and found Shawn Spieler, 39, of Youngstown, Florida, shot in the face and suffering a stab wound in the neck.

Another victim, Brittany Louvon Harris, 23, of Panacea, was found nearby. She was also shot in the head and suffered a broken wrist from "being struck by a blunt object."

Investigators believe the three people spent the day together before the shooting. Carraway was still on scene when deputies arrived, and he was taken in for questioning.

Both victims are still in an area hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and State Attorney's office are assisting.
