TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - We're just days away from election night, Andrew Gillum and Ron DeSantis are both running for Florida Governor and have spent a lot of time campaigning.
This Tuesday we will see what the future will look like for the State of Florida.
WTXL spoke to a local political expert about where the candidates currently stand when it comes to their last minute campaign efforts.
"Right now they are just trying to garner those last few votes and put out whatever fires they may have. For Mr. Gillum, he's trying to deal with the issue of the FBI and corruption and hes trying to put that at bay,"said Dr. Richard Murgo. For Mr. DeSantis, he's trying to keep up with any momentum he has and to increase it. They're both in a statistical dead heat at this point."
Murgo also said all eyes across the nation are watching this race and that it is different from past races because of all the national attention.
