MOULTIRE, Ga. (WTXL)--The Downtown Moultrie Merchants Association invites you to visit the area.
Bill Harrison with the association says about 40 businesses in downtown Moultrie get together on a monthly basis to talk about how to attract customers to the downtown area.
He says the courthouse square is active and busy which is rare in a town these days.
He says a lot of people stop in Thomasville, but he also encourages you to drive 20 miles north to also enjoy Moultrie.
