COLQUITT CO., Ga. (WTXL) - An all natural dairy farm in Colquitt County continues to make moves with production and processing, while stressing environmentally sound practices.

For half a century, Sparkman's Cream Valley has stayed true to its philosophy, "always be stewards to the land". Now in the hands of the 2nd Sparkman generation, the dairy continues to focus on being "green". They pride themselves on maintaining artificial hormone free, all jersey cows to insure quality products.

Ricky Sparkman, current president of the dairy, says whether it's a gallon of milk or a stick of butter, the farm produces what some call the best dairy products in the entire state of Georgia, "people who drink our skim milk think they're drinking 2% and people who drink our 2%, think they're drinking whole milk. That's all because of the solids that is in the milk, it doesn't have anything to do with our processing. It's all about the cow."

Ricky, along side his three sons began a new phase for the dairy by creating a production facility right on the farm, "we decide that vertical integration was the right thing to do, so in 2007 we started bottling our own milk."

Sparkman's sustainable products have a reach across the country. You can find them in Kroger, Earthfare, and even Whole Foods.
