TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The ruling on the travel ban on several Muslim-majority counties is one of the first victories in the Supreme Court for the Trump administration.
WTXL political contributors say the victory gives the administration support while they continue to make actions on immigration.
"It helps him because he's gonna have issues coming up in Congress right now with immigration. This gives him a little bit of support. It gives them a little bit of legitimacy because he hasn't had any victories in the court," said Richard Murgo. "So this gives the Trump administration a victory and gives them legitimacy were a lot of congressmen can say 'he has the power to do this, we can ban people coming from these countries.'"
