TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Since the previous academic school year, WTXL has followed on-going investigations of former assistant baseball coaches at Chiles High School.

First, Caleb Lanier, the assistant baseball coach, was fired from Chiles on allegations that he made inappropriate sexual comments to players.

Then Derek Vail resigned for reported inappropriate social media contact with female students.

In May, Leon County Schools removed Gary Meyer as a volunteer coach on the JV baseball team.

Following that, in June, police arrested Meyer for stalking and battery.

Meyer was the first employee authorities arrested.
