TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Every veteran deserves a wreath.
It's a small way to honor those who gave their lives for our freedom.
Wreaths Across America in Tallahassee needs 1200 wreaths for
veterans graves in three area cemeteries, but they need your help.
They are short 300 wreaths and the deadline is Monday.
For $15, you can sponsor a remembrance wreath and it will be delivered to the Tallahassee National Cemetery in time for the laying of the wreath ceremony on Saturday, December 8. Organizers say the purpose of Wreaths Across America is to remember, honor and teach.
The ceremony is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.
After the ceremony, officials will invite family and friends to lay their wreaths and then they'll invite members of the audience to come forward and honor the veterans whose families weren't able to attend.
Be a part of the laying of remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes, as the name of each and every veteran is said aloud.
By donating a wreath you can thank them for their service and your freedom.
