PORT ORANGE, Fla. (AP) - A lawn care worker was clipped by a plane as it took off at a central Florida fly-in community.
Orlando television station WESH reports that a small private plane hit the worker Thursday morning at the Spruce Creek Airpark.
The unidentified worker complained of back pain and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The plane had minor damage to its wing.
Spruce Creek is a residential airpark located in the Daytona Beach area.
