TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A traffic note for Tallahassee drivers.
Starting Monday, June 2, Surgeons Drive will be closed between 1528 and 1554 Surgeons Drive. Traffic will be detoured to Miccosukee Road and to Medical Drive.
Earlier this month, a section of the Surgeons Drive failed. Geotechnical engineers determined it was problems with soil conditions to blame.
Crews with the city's Public Works Department will be on site, removing the bad soil and replacing it with stable soil.
Work should take about two weeks.
The closure will last approximately two weeks.
