TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Women's Tribute Breakfast was held at the Goodwood Museum in Tallahassee Monday morning.
That breakfast, hosted by the Women for Florida Leadership, honored the many women who made the campaign possible and celebrated the important leadership role women are expected to play in the DeSantis-Nuñez Administration.
"We had, in fact, more women than men working in his campaign in leadership roles," said Casey DeSantis, First Lady-Elect. "And I think that really speaks volumes about Ron and some amazing women, who did some amazing things."
This of course is all leading up to inauguration day Tuesday. The swearing-in ceremony will take place on the steps of Florida's Historic Capitol at 9:00 a.m.
