TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - According to deputies, a woman with ties both to the family of FSU Law professor Daniel Markel's ex-wife and one of the alleged shooters in his death, has arrived in Leon County.
The Leon County Sheriff's Office said that Katherine Magbanua arrived in Leon County on Monday.
31-year-old Katherine Magbanua was charged with murder October First for the July 2014 slaying of Markel.
Police said she had relationships with one of the alleged gunmen and Charles Adelson, the brother of Markel's ex-wife Wendi Adelson. Court records indicated that Magbanua received payments from the Adelson family.
A first appearance for Magbanua has not been announced yet.
