THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) - If you are looking for a little motivation to achieve those resolutions you set earlier this year, here it is.

A woman who is turning 100 years old Thursday in Thomasville works out three times a week.

Vivian Ellis fellow gym partners in the "Silver Sneakers Program" at the YMCA threw her a surprise party Wednesday.

Ellis says its been a good birthday week so far, she got her driver's license renewed and is still able to spend some time in her garden.

Ellis was shocked at the amount of love extended by her YMCA friends.

"This is most exciting, I didn't ever think this would happen to me," said Ellis. "I've gained so many friends through the years."

Ellis's friends say, she is truly an inspiration to many in the community.
