(RNN) - A man thought it would be romantic idea to propose to his girlfriend at the Boston Red Sox baseball game Sunday night, but apparently she didn’t.
His girlfriend rejected the proposal that took place in front of thousands of fans.
Everyone saw it, as Fenway Park staff displayed the moment on the jumbotron.
The fans didn’t seem to care much about the guy’s feelings, as they busted out an emphatic “she said no” chant.
Some guy at the sox game proposed on the jumbotron and got denied. Kinda felt bad but the "she said no" chant was pretty fun.

It was a heartbreaking moment for the guy.
There was no video of the chant, but someone got footage of the couple arguing after the proposal.
