COLQUITT COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal ATV crash that happened late Saturday night in Colquitt County.
Troopers say 30-year-old Amber Norman of Morman Park, Ga. was killed while driving the ATV on George Flowers Road around 11:30 p.m. They say Norman was speeding and went off the road. That's when troopers say she overcorrected and overturned the vehicle.
The passenger, 25-year-old Brittany Thompson received non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Colquitt Regional.
Troopers suspect Norman was under the influence of alcohol the time of the crash.
