CAMILLA, GA (WTXL) - A Camilla woman is dead, after police say her husband shot her during a nearly seven-hour stand-off with officers Friday afternoon.
It happened in South Scott Street, near Morgan Street.
Police say around three in the afternoon, Murray refused to come out of his home, armed with a gun.
According to officers, his wife and her nine-year-old daughter came to the home to pick up clothes.
The man then pulled a gun on the woman. The girl managed to escape, but heard gunshots.
Police say Murray surrendered to police around 7 p.m.
