LIVE OAK, FL (WTXL) - The Grand Jury met Tuesday to discuss a stabbing death from July in Live Oak.
Casey Cason is accused of stabbing Alaina Szortyka to death on July 19, according to the Live Oak Police Department.
Police say the incident happened outside of Cason's home on 5th street in Live Oak.
After the Tuesday Grand Jury meeting, Cason is being charged with second degree armed murder.
According to Szortyka's family, Cason and Szortyka were best friends and the stabbing took place during an argument.
