DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A central Florida woman has been sentenced to life in prison for fatally stabbing her neighbor.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal ( ) reports that Circuit Judge Leah Case sentenced 54-year-old Brenda Reynolds on Monday. A jury took just 13 minutes in September to find her guilty of second-degree murder.

Volusia County prosecutors say Reynolds stabbed 60-year-old Emma Sue Williams during a dispute over possessions in 2014. She then yelled from her front porch that she'd killed the woman.
