MARIANNA, Fla. (WTXL)- A traffic stop lead deputies to arrest a Marianna woman for possession of meth.
Savanna Summerlin, 27, also had an active warrant out for her arrest.
On Feb. 28, a Deputy Sheriff with the Uniform Patrol Division saw a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop on the car.
While talking to Summerlin, the deputy gave her information to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Communications Center and was told that Summerlin had an active warrant out of Jackson County for violation of state probation.
During the stop, the deputy searched the vehicle. While searching the vehicle, the deputy found a small jewelry bag in the front passenger seat containing methamphetamine.
Also in the trunk, the deputy found three used hypodermic syringes with plastic containers and another jewelry bag that contained meth residue.
Summerlin was arrested and and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
Summerlin has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of state probation.
