Woman Dead In Colquitt County After Her House Caught On Fire

COLQUITT COUNTY, GA (WTXL) - A woman is dead after her house caught on fire.

Officials received the call around 2:30pm on Saturday. They responded to a farm house on Old Albany Road in Colquitt County.

83-year-old Minnie Height was found dead inside the home. According to Coroner Verlyn Brock, Height was partially paralyzed on her right side, making her stuck inside the house. 

Brock says the house is a complete loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but officials don't suspect any foul play.
