JASPER, Fla. (WTXL) - A Jennings woman who worked as a food service worker at the Hamilton Correctional Institution was arrested for contraband introduction.
Rachel Sheffield Hawkins was arrested by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, according to a Florida Department of Corrections news release. She also faces a charge of drug possession.
An offense report said she concealed K-2 spice synthetic cannabis in a body cavity.
She was booked into the Hamilton County Jail on Tuesday and released Wednesday on a $10,000 bond.
