Woman Charged with DUI, After Crashing Car Injuring Children

WHIGHAM, Ga. (WTXL) - One woman has been arrested following a crash that injured six others.

Troopers with the Georgia State Patrol arrested 29 year old, Sabel White, on fourteen charges. White is charged with DUI, 6 child endangerment, 3 children restraints, unlicensed. She is also being charged with two felony charges of serious injury by vehicle. White is currently at the Grady county jail.

On Saturday night, troopers were called out to Highway 179 north of Spring hill drive in Whigham. Troopers say two children were life lighted to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, and are currently in stable condition. The other 5 occupants of the vehicle were taken to Grady memorial hospital.

Investigators say White drove off the road, overturning the vehicle causing the two children to be ejected from the car. The vehicle landed on its roof and all lanes were blocked for 2 hours as troopers investigated.
