JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A woman has been arrested by Florida troopers, accused of pulling a gun on a victim while driving.
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles say that on Wednesday, they received a call from Tallahassee area officials about a driver who had pointed a gun at another driver.
The victim said that while she was driving, the suspect, later identified as Kutara Brightman, was driving behind her and began to drive recklessly.
Brightman then changed lanes, pulled up beside the victim, and pointed a gun in her direction.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the victim was able to provide a description of the car and the woman who had pointed a gun at her. Eventually, troopers were able to spot the car and pulled it over.
An initial investigation found that there was reason to believe the incident happened and Brightman was arrested.
She is charged with possession of paraphernalia (misdemeanor), improper exhibition of a weapon (misdemeanor), and aggravated assault with a weapon (felony).
