TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A woman accused of using an elderly woman's personal information to steal over $30,000 has turned herself into Leon County deputies.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office said that 31-year-old Amy Glover turned herself in on Wednesday.

From February 2016 through July of the same year, they said that Glover was the caretaker of an elderly woman. During her time as caretaker, they said that she was able to take numerous checks and credit cards from the victim.

Between February 2016 and November 2016, Glover used those checks to forge the signature and cashed the checks.

In addition to the checks, deputies said that she made numerous charges to the elderly victim's credit cards. In total, Glover stole over $30,000 from the victim.

Glover is facing charges related to exploitation of the elderly, criminal use of personal identification, fraudulent use of credit cards, and theft from a person over 65.
