MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Madison County woman is now behind bars after holding four victims hostage at gun point.
41-year old Vangie Scott turned herself into authorities Tuesday afternoon after being involved in a hostage situation.
On Nov. 14, four victims reported being threatened and tied up by a woman wearing a black ski mask and holding a pistol.
One of the victims managed to break free and retrieve a shotgun from a vehicle parked in the yard.
From there shots were exchanged between the victim and Scott.
Scott fled on foot from the scene.
She is now being charged with committing burglary while armed, aggravated assault, kidnapping and shooting into a dwelling.
