TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A woman was arrested for hitting her mother in the face with a cellphone over not having a functional car.

Edidiong Eno, 21, was charged with domestic battery by the Leon County Sheriff's Office on March 12 after hitting her mother in the face with a cellphone.

According to the police report, Eno confronted her mother about not having an operational car that she felt should've been provided to her. During a verbal argument, Eno hit her mother in the face with her cellphone.

The victim wouldn't allow photos to be taken of her injuries, but deputies stated the victim had a contusion in the middle of her forehead that continued down to the bridge of her nose.

Based on the evidence, Eno was arrested and charged with domestic battery. Eno's father asked deputies that she be Baker Acted due to her diagnosis of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

As she was being transported to the Leon County Detention Facility she asked deputies why she was being arrested. When deputies told her because she hit her mother in the face with a cellphone, Eno replied "I didn't mean to."
