VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - A woman accused of breaking into a victim's car told Valdosta Police that she was just looking for a place to sleep.
On Thursday, around 2 a.m., a victim called 911 and said that an unknown person had broken into her car.
The victim said that the unknown person also had taken items from the car that belonged to her.
When Valdosta officers began questioning the person, who was identified as Marie Parker, Parker admitted that she had broken into the car, claiming that she was just looking for a place to sleep.
However, officer found multiple things on Parker that were stolen from the car that belonged to the victim.
Parker was then taken into custody and taken to the Lowndes County Jail. She was charged with felony theft by entering a car.
