NORTH PORT, FL (WWSB) - A North Port woman has been arrested and accused of dating and having sex with a 15-year-old boy.
The North Port Sun reports Alexis Baughman, 22, was arrested last Thursday and charged with lewd or lascivious behavior with a victim between 12-16 years.
According to the paper, police were called in May by the victim's mother, who said she at first consented to the relationship, believing Baughman to be 18-years-old. When the teen's mother learned Baughman was actually 22-years-old, she called police.
The victim was interviewed a couple weeks later and told police he had been dating Baughman for four months and had had sexual relations with her.
Baughman was arrested and taken to jail. She's being held on $7,500 bond.
