WAXAHACHIE, TX (KXXV) - The Texas Department of Public Safety has released a video in response to a viral post made by internet personality Shaun King, according to the Waxahachie Light.

The post accused a Texas DPS trooper of sexually assaulting a woman who was arrested on Sunday for driving while intoxicated in Waxahachie. King's post also said that the trooper told her that he would shoot her fiance.

The woman has been identified as 37-year-old Sherita Dixon-Cole of Grapevine.

After the post went viral, DPS released the body cam video of the arrest. The video is almost 2-hours long, and it does not show any threats from the trooper or any sexual assault.

Dixon-Cole was brought to the Ellis County Jail and charged with DWI.

Another post that went viral about the incident was by lawyer Lee Merritt, who later apologized after seeing the body cam footage. He said he is sorry for any troubles these claims have caused.

Shaun King also shared the video on his Facebook page, showing it proved that the allegations from Dixon-Cole appear to be false.
