SARASOTA, FL (WWSB) - The President of the Downtown Merchants Association says the group is going to spend more money on advertising to remind full-time residents about all Main Street area has to offer.
"The Downtown Merchants Association is trying to bring everybody together for an advertising campaign to remind the locals that downtown does have it all: We have the best restaurants, great nightlife and wonderful shopping downtown," Ron Soto said.
Soto says he wants the larger Downtown Improvement District to match their dollars. That will be discussed at their June 5th meeting.
