TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - With an increase of vehicle burglaries and thefts since December, the Leon County Sheriff's Office are asking citizens to keep their belongings secure.
Detectives are reminding people to lock their cars, but also say that removing items such as wallets, phones, firearms, electronics and personal belongings will deter possible criminals.
Detectives say that there have been more than fifty car burglary reports involving suspects entering unlocked cars and stealing valuables, including loaded firearms.
