VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)-- Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is receiving a record donation today of $1 million, the largest donation in the school's history.
The money comes from Dr. Ed and Rhonda Mark, who have already given the school $250,000 dollars and have pledged the rest of the money to the Health Sciences programs.
The college is working on building a new Health Sciences building, which will house 25% of the students on campus.
The facility will provide qualified health care workers for more than 79 industries in South Georgia.
