TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL/ESPN) -- Jameis Winston getting ready for the NFL draft, and making sure a college nickname goes with him into the pros.
According to ESPN, Winston has filed a trademark for the name "Famous Jameis."
The former FSU quarterback was given that title during his time with the Seminoles, and his representation says they want to protect his intellectual and property rights.
Experts have predicted Winston could be the first pick of the draft, and potentially start his NFL career in the Sunshine State, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
