MANATEE CO., Fla. (WWSB) -- Three vehicles were hit on I-75 after rocks or other projectiles were being thrown at oncoming traffic.
At approximately midnight on Friday, the Florida Highway Patrol was notified that an individual or multiple individuals were throwing rocks or shooting a BB/Pellet gun off the I-75/Mendoza Bridge overpass at northbound traffic.
One of the vehicles impacted claimed his windshield was severely damaged. Another vehicle's front and rear windows were shattered.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene to assist with a search of the area for suspects. There was no success in locating any suspects or information regarding the incident.
There were no injuries sustained by any of the victims in this incident.
