TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - While fans across the nation mourn the death of boxing great Muhammed Ali, local aspiring champs take time this weekend to reflect on his legacy.
Muhammed Ali passed away at an Arizona Hospital early Saturday morning. His family says he died of septic shock. The heavyweight world champion retired in 1981. Fans around the world admired him both for his boxing accomplishments and his humanitarian work; something that local boxing champ Willie Ferrell says inspired him the most, "I looked at him and saw by the way that he handled himself he always was a peoples champ and always stood for what he believes in."
