TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) -- December is wrapping up and even for Floridians, it's a record year for heat.
It's the end of 2015 and it sure has felt like Christmas in July.
"Eleven months out of the year were above normal," said Tim Barry of the National Weather Service, "We had our hottest Spring (March - May) on record, 4th hottest Summer (June - August), and we had the hottest fall (September - November)."
Remember July? 31 days in the month and 15 of those days were above 96 degrees. Those numbers help made July the second hottest on record in Tallahassee history.
And those aren't the only numbers, April and November both set new record highs for Tallahassee.
And 2015 will go down as the city's hottest year.
