LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Wild Adventures will re-open its doors for the 2018 season Saturday.

The theme park side will be open to the public at 9 a.m.

Every year, Wild Adventures introduces a new attraction for its guests.

That latest addition will be its larger than life bugs, some real and some not so real.

Everything from spiders to scorpions.

"It's going to be a lot of fun, you're going to learn a lot more than you thought you would," said Courtney Benter, Wild Adventures staff member. "It's going to be really awesome to see everything kind of bigger and better than it's ever been and you not only get to see the statues, but also see them in real life. It'll be a lot of fun."

The park will give away free tickets to the first 200 people who come and eat a flavored dry cricket.
