WILD ADVENTURES, Ga. (WTXL)--A beloved giraffe at Wild Adventures has died.
A spokesperson says Maggie was under veterinary treatment for the past month for a gastrointestinal condition and died Monday.
The park is working with veterinary experts to determine the exact cause of death.
Here's a statement Wild Adventures released: "We mourn with our team members and guests who grew to love Maggie over the five years she spent at Wild Adventures, particularly our animal care team who were like family to her."
