White Springs Elect New Mayor

WHITE SPRINGS, FL. (WTXL) - Results are in from the White Springs Town Council Election held on April 28th.

A total of 167 residents came out to vote in the election, casting their ballots for two unoccupied council seats. Rhett Bullard was selected with 142 votes, while Tonja Brown beat out Nicole Williams by 3 votes, 75 to 72.

Bullard was selected as the new mayor at a reorganization meeting on April 30th, with a 3 to 2 vote by the council.

Walter Mckensize was nominated to continue as Vice Mayor in a unanimous vote.
