TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Whataburger restaurants across the country are shortening their breakfast hours due to a recent egg shortage and it's affecting business in Tallahassee.
The company announced on their Facebook page that they are changing the breakfast hours in more than 770 locations across the country. The cause is stated as the national egg shortage from the avian flu outbreak.
Pancakes, Honey Butter sauce and Cinnamon Rolls are some of the items the company lists as needing eggs in addition to eggs served on their own.
Whataburger says that the change will happen gradually and they will continue to let customers know of any further changes.
On a separate post, the company says breakfast will only be offered from 5 a.m. until 9 a.m., while supplies last.
Both Tallahassee locations are affected by this announcement.
