TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Developers are in confidential negotiations with a grocery store chain to build a location on Railroad Ave.

Wednesday night, the City of Tallahassee voted to approve the sale of a 3.01 acre parcel of land to Summit Holdings XV, LLC based out of Tallahassee. The city's selling price for the land was $2 million dollars.

Summit Holdings says that it is currently in negotiations with a grocery story chain to build a new store at the Railroad Avenue location. But it is waiting till a lease is signed before it releases the name of the grocery store.
