TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee Police are investigating several weekend shootings.

The first happening on Appleyard Drive Friday night.

Police arrested Daniel Sierra, who is in the Leon County Jail.

They say sierra shot Lorenzo Winford in the leg Friday night around 7:30 after they got in an argument.

It happened at the Landing at Appleyard Apartments on Appleyard Drive.

Winford then flagged down an ambulance and was taken to a local hospital.

More details tonight in the second shooting that happened around 3:30 am on Saturday.

Police are now identifying the person killed in that incident as Travis Wilson.

They say after investigating further, investigators have learned that shots were first fired at the Waffle House on West Tennessee Street several minutes later Wilson and and four other victims were shot at the intersection of Call Street and Stadium Drive.

No one has been arrested.

Police are urging any witness to contact them.

Just hours later around noon on Saturday, officers were called to an Apartment Complex on East Magnolia Drive.

The victim of this shooting was taken to the hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police have not arrested anyone yet in this shooting either.

TPD is working to determine whether or not this shooting and the one near call street and stadium drive are connected.

WTXL ABC 27's Ashley Richmond spoke with City Commissioner Curtis Richardson about this issue.

She joins us now in studio with the details.

Richardson tells me, he like the other commissioners are really troubled by the violent weekend in Tallahassee.

However, Richardson says it takes a community effort to clean up crime, it's not just on the government, the police, or the people.

He says the city continues to work with local law enforcement on all levels to find solutions.

I also spoke with City Commissioner Gil Ziffer, who says he talked with TPD today, and police tell him an estimated 100 people witnessed those weekend shootings.

They're now urging the community to come forward by either calling TPD or leaving an anonymous tip through crime stoppers.
