SARASOTA COUNTY, FL (WWSB) - The Sheriff's Office say a wrong way driver who fled deputies is responsible for snarling traffic on I-75 South before Exit 193 Jacaranda Blvd.
It's unclear what led up to the pursuit, but deputies say from Edmondson Road, the driver fled to Laurel Road and onto I-75 South. The driver crashed and was transported to Venice Hospital.

Deputies say the driver is facing drug charges and will likely face additional charges related to the car chase.
