VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - Cellphone footage of an officer involved shooting that left one man dead in Valdosta has been released and turned over to investigators.
This cellphone video was taken by a neighbor who was on the scene during the officer involved shooting in Valdosta.
According to the man's family and the Lowndes County Coroner, Johnathan Lozano-Murillo was shot and killed when Officer Alyssa Shirey responded to a call on the 1600 block of Fresno Street.
There is no word yet on whether or not Officer Shirey was wearing a body camera at the time of the shooting.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said that they are still investigating the incident.
