FLORIDA (CNN) -- A spring break trip quickly turned into a scary situation.
Two teenagers are now being hailed heroes after flames ravaged a house on Blue Mountain Beach, a popular vacation destination in Florida. The teens managed to get everyone out of the house before any major injuries were sustained.
"My friend ran up to the house and banged on the door and got everybody out. By the time everybody got out of the house, it was completely in flames. The fire spread up the side of the building and caught the roof on fire and it burned down from there."
The fire got so large, it spread to the house next door. The hero teens made sure everyone was out of that house too.
At the first house, a propane tank explosion increased the intensity of the blaze.
Fire investigators say a gas leak in the area may have sparked the fire.
