CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (WTXL) - The police chief in Coral Springs held a news conference Thursday to address news reports that surveillance cameras at Stoneman Douglas slowed down the police response.
The Sun Sentinel recently published an article claiming the school's security cameras did not show the gunman in real time.
Chief Tony Pustizzi called the problem a communications issue.
He said there was some early confusion but it did not hinder the police response.
