PERRY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Perry man walking on a road was seriously injured when he was struck from behind by a pickup truck Monday night.
Gary Wayne Traynor, 18, was hit about 9 p.m. Monday while walking westbound in the westbound lane of County Road 361B, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The pickup truck, driven by Keith Michael Young, 40, of Perry, was traveling west on County Road approaching Traynor when its front right collided with Traynor.
Traynor, who was cited for walking in the same direction of traffic in the roadway, was taken to Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.
