TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - This week the Florida Capitol's lobby is filled with shoes.
Each pair was worn by a survivor of sexual assault.
The powerful display, called Walk In My Shoes, is raising awareness about sexual violence by sharing stories from those personally impacted.
The shoes belong to men, women and children from ages 3 to 89 across Florida.
Lauren's kids and the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence is hosting a walk Saturday to show sexual assault victims they are not alone.
