WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The first must-see stop in Wakulla County is Wakulla Springs State Park.
Wakulla Springs State Park is home to one of the largest and deepest freshwater springs in the world and features an abundance of wildlife, to include alligators, deer, and manatees.
This is also the home of the county's historic glass bottom boat tours and are offered when the water is clear.
The Wakulla Springs Lodge was built in 1937 by financier Edward Ball and is open year-round.
