CRAWFORDVILLE, FL (WTXL) - The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office is mourning the loss of one of their own.
Sheriff Charlie Creel says Keith Blackmar, the Sheriff Office's Public Information Officer, passed away Tuesday morning. He was 56 years old.
Blackmar was terminally ill and was taken under the care of hospice a week before his death, according to Sheriff Creel.
The Sheriff's Office says they are planning a memorial service to honor his life. Blackmar worked with the Sheriff's Office for over six years.
